My Work
My life's dream was to be a published novelist, and when it happened, it was a thrill. In addition to Educating Aviva, my latest work, I have a four-book mystery series (hopefully soon to be five), two time-travel historical romances, and the story of a young man whose life begins after he leaves the Navy during the Vietnam War era.
EDUCATING AVIVA
Beautiful Aviva Stern never dreamed she would leave her strong Hasidic community, nor does she ever imagine meeting and falling in love with a stranger from a completely different background. Nevertheless, a frightening incident in her life makes her feel she has no choice but to escape, although she has no real place to go. But her chance meeting of handsome, kind David Delgado, a Colombian musician, enables her to make the difficult transition and to have confidence that she can be loved and succeed in a very different world from the one in which she grew up.

A young woman finds herself mysteriously transported back to the Boston of 1886, where she helps a younger woman, a former slave, become one of the first female doctors in the country.
PAINT IT BLACK
A young man struggles with the aftermath of the loss of his father at a very young age, tackling many of life's problems with the help of an unlikely love.
ABOUT TIME
Catapulted back to the time of Alexander Hamilton, and with his encouragement, a young woman lawyer solves a murder case and becomes one of the first defense attorneys to practice in eighteenth century New York City.
My Community
In addition to my writing, I am very active in the worlds of music, theater, and dog training. I play the South American Llanera Harp under the tutelage of Edmar Castañeda, one of the foremost Colombian harpists in the world. I perform in local theater and musical groups, as a singer and actor. I am also an avid dog lover, and have trained show dogs and pet dogs for many years.
